An handsome edition, published by the renowned private press founded by Alberto Tallone (1898-1964) in celebration of the 700th anniversary of Dante's birth. In668 copies. The present one is the no. 8 of only ten copies printed on Japan Kaji Nacré paper. The text follows the reading establishedby Michele Barbi for the Edizione Nazionale delle Opere diDante(1932).Talloni founded his printing house in 1938 in Paris, and in 1957 it moved in Alpignano, near Turin. The first book produced by him was in effect theVita Nuova, who he set up in the Paris press from Léon Pichon.
