First separate edition of the De Monarchia, issued with a fake printing place and a fake printer's name. The edition was not printed in Geneva by Henri Albert Gosse, but actually in Venice by Giovanni Battista Pasquali as part of a series of publications of Dante's works, issued between 1739 and 1741. So is stated in the advise to the reader: "Hunc de Monarchia libellum, olim a Simone Schardio in suo tractatu de Imperiali Jurisdictione, Argentorati anno 1609 publicatum, iisdem typis, charta ac forma, quibus caetera Dantis opera Ioannes Baptista Pasquali vulgavit, edidimus ut iisdem operibus facile sociari posset".
