8° (146 × 98 mm). Collation: *8, A-O8, P12. [8], 124 leaves. Second issue with the page numbering corrected (in the first issue the final page is wrongly numbered 112). On the title-page woodcut portrait of Dante within decorated woodcut borders. Nineteenth-century half-calf with gilt title on spine, marbled edges. A good copy, title-page slightly stained.

Second sixteenth-century edition and third overall. The portrait, although close in style to that of the 1521 edition, shows significant differences in the features of the face and in the robe. The table of contents is enlarged compared to the one of the previous edition.
