A popular and miniature edition of the Commedia, based on the Padua edition of 1822. With an argument at the beginning of each canto. The portrait of dante on the frontispiece was engraved by Agostino Lauro (1806-1876), while the three plates illustrating respectively Canto v of the Inferno, Canto ii of the Purgatorio and Canto xxx of the Paradiso are engraved by Antonio Viviani (1797-1854) after Bartolomeo Marcovich (1813-1882).
