12° (136 x 71 mm). Collation: a¹², b⁶, A-Z¹², AA-BB¹². [36], 598, [2] pages. Italic and roman type. The title of each canto within a woodcut border. Woodcut animated initials; head- and tailpieces. Bound in antique vellum, over pasteboards. Smooth spine, with inked title. A good copy, somewhat browned. Waterstained the outer blank margin of the last quires (heavier in the quires AA-BB). Loss to the lower blank margin of fol. V12.

The Commedia printed by Domenico Farri follows the Giolito edition of 1555, from which it takes the dedicatory epistle to Coriolano Martirano, the Vita of Dante by Lodovico Dolce, the arguments, allegories and glosses.
