Covers framed within border of three gilt fillets, foliate gilt tools at the inner corners (covers slightly abrased in places). Spine with five raised bands, richly gilt-tooled. Title in gold on green morocco lettering-piece. Marbled pastedowns and flyleaves. Boards edges decorated with gilt fillet, inside dentelles. Green silk booksmark, gilt edges. A very fine copy, printed on strong paper. Occasional and light brownings. Traces of glue at the title-page. Some pencilled marginal notes, in a modern hand. A lengthy bibliographical note on the recto of the second front flyleaf.
