Three volumes, 8° (211 x 128 mm). vi, [2], 408; [4], 384; [4], 420 pages. In the first volume, frontispiece with portrait of Dante engraved by R.H. Cromek after T. Stothard RA with the note ‘Published March 22.1802 by Caddell&Davies Strand'. Contemporary hazel calf; covers within double gilt fillet. Smooth spine, gilt title and volume numbering on the spine. Marbled pastedowns and flyleaves. Inside dentelles. Corners and board edges slightly abrased. A very good copy, leaves slightly browned. A small spot to the title-page of the first volume.
