Green morocco binding signed by the Parisian master binder Henry Marius-Michel (1846-1925). Covers framed within gilt fillets and decorated with multicolour floral inlays. Spine with four raised bands, title lettering in gilt. Green morocco pastedowns, silk doublures, inside dentelles.. ilt edges. Preserved the original wrappers; in black morocco chemise and slipcase.

Edition limited to 130 copies, illustrated by the handsome coloured woodcuts executed by Jacques, Camille and Georges Beltrand after the drawings by the famous French painter Maurice Denis (1870-1943). The present copy also contains two original watercolors signed by Denis, and a proof on China paper.
