Edges speckled red. Corners lightly bumped, the papers on covers abrased in places. A very fine copy, paper flaw to the outer lower corner of pages 111-112.

The work, here in first edition, by the well-known Italian poet and great admirer of Dante Vincenzo Monti (1754-1828) is dedicated to another great admirer of the Florentine poet: the famous Dante collector Gian Giacomo Trivulzio (1774-1831).
