Two volumes, 8° (207 x 132 mm). 178, [2]; 205, [3] pages. Original editorial wrappers, few stains on the covers. A fine copy, uncut. In the first volume a small stain to the title-page of the first volume, waterstained the upper blank margin of the first leaves.

In this collection by the exiled Napoletain intellectual Francesco Lomonaco (1772-1810), the biography of Dante is supplied by the sonnet A Francesco Lomonaco per la vita di Dante, by Alessandro Manzoni (1785-1873), Manzoni's first work appeared in print.
