Three volumes, 8° (214 x 142 mm). 518; 403, [1]; 562 pages. Decorated and animated initials. Uniformly bound in nineteenth-century brown quarter-leather over pasteboards; boards covered with percaline. Smooth spines, with title and volume numbering in gilt lettering. Pastedowns and flyleaves in pink paper. Loss to the upper corner of the front cover of the first volume, spine slightly rubbed. A very good copy, some leaves browned.

The Commedia with the fourteenth-century commentary by Iacomo della Lana, first published in 1865 in a limited number of copies, and now included by the Tipografia Regia in the editorial series "Collezione di opere inedite e rare dei primi tre secoli della lingua". The text is introduced by Luciano Scarabelli (1806-1878).
