Text printed alternately in black (English translation) and in pale blue (Italian text). Half-title printed in green. Original editorial binding by Norbert Herold, turquoise quarter-morocco, boards covered with green cloth. Spine with title in silver lettering, coloured flyleaves. With the original dust jacket. An excellent copy, uncut. In a cardboard slipcase.

A very fine edition issued by the Australian publishing house founded by Alan Loney, limited to only twenty-six copies, with twenty for sale (this is no. 23), signed by the well-known printmaker Bruno Leti (1941-) and the translator Chris Wallace-Crabbe. "Types are Dante, Zapf Civilite and Open Kapitalen, printed onto damped Magnani mouldmade paper on a Pratt-Albion handpress. The drawings are reproduced from magnesium blocks supplied by Hitech Allgraphics, Melbourne, and printed on the handpress under the supervision of the artist” (from the colophon).
