Nineteenth-century half-leather over pasteboards, boards covered with red percaline. Blind-tooled smooth spine, title and imprint in gilt lettering. A fine copy, occasional soiling, a few finger-marks.

Provenance: from the library of the Monastery of St Augustin in Siena (seventeenth-century ownership inscriptions on the title-page 'Conuentus Sancti Augustini Senen.', and 'sum Augustini F[ratr]is Nicolai Oliuae Sen[ens]is', possibly the general of the Order, Niccolò Oliva from Prato, 2. half of the seventeenth century); Livio Ambrogio collection.
