Three volumes, 8° (175 x 125 mm). lxi, [3], 312; 325, [3]; 341, [1] pages.Title-pages printed in red and black, with woodcut printer's device. Woodcut tailpieces. Modern uniform binding, half-leather over pasteboards, boards covered with Remondini paper. On the spines title and imprint in gold on double lettering-piece. Pastedowns and flyleaves in coloured paper. A good copy, uncut. Light browning, a few spots; some wormholes in the blank margins, affecting the text only in the first three leaves of the second volume.

The first edition of Dante's Opera omnia, edited by the Florentine scholar Antonio Maria Biscioni (1674-1756), prefect of the Biblioteca Laurenziana. The text of the Commedia is a substantial reprint of the Commedia, published in Lucca in 1732.
