Paperboards; on the front cover the name of Dante, the capital ‘D' reproduces the illuminated initial from the manuscript Magliabechiano ii.i.29 of the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale in Florence.

Calendar with a Dante quotations, translated in French, German and English, for each day. The volume was edited by Eugenia Levi in occasion of the fourth Congress of the Società Dante Alighieri, held on the 12th November 1893. The work is introduced by a short writing by the philologian and politician Ruggiero Bonghi (1826-1895) and a preface by the critic and writer Alessandro D'Ancona (1835-1914) At the end of the volume, the bibliography and the index of the ‘pensieri' and ‘sentenze'.
