Engraved initials in medieval style. Original binding in hazel leather, with ties. On the front cover, title in gilt lettering, and the Florentine lily stamped in red.

The work includes the apocryphal texts of the Credo, Ave Maria, Pater noster and Sette Salmi penitenziali, and some passages from the Commedia, for example St. Bernard prayer to the Virgin. The volume is illustrated by the Florentine painter Attilio Razzolini.
